Website for the Study of Emotions in Antiquity \u2013<\/strong> http:\/\/ancientemotions.upatras.gr\/<\/a><\/p>\n

In collaboration with the Department of Philology at the University of Crete, the Department of Philology at the University of Patras has organised, since 2015, a series of regular international conferences devoted to the study of emotions in the ancient world.<\/p>\n

The initiative now has its own website, where visitors can find information on published edited volumes, detailed programmes of the conferences, and news concerning current research on emotions in antiquity.<\/p>\n

Among the project\u2019s future aims are to develop the website into a permanent resource hosting a systematic bibliography on emotions; to include recorded lectures by invited speakers; to serve as a forum for collaboration with corresponding research groups at universities abroad; and, above all, to foster interdisciplinary dialogue with other fields, ranging from medicine and biology to psychology and architecture.<\/p>\n
